I am all kinds of bored. Someone, please, go stand out in front of my apartment, pour gasoline on yourself and light yourself on fire, just so I can watch. The crazy guy stopped shouting, the people upstairs stopped having sex, and I'm sitting here in 394820 layers of clothing, doing laundry, eating cinnamon & sugar popcorn and powdered hot chocolate, yelling at the cats and looking at random kittens on Catster.
My god what have I become?! Current Mood: resigned

I had a really horrible dream. I wonder if it was trying to tell me something. A lot of people I knew died, at least, they were going to die, but I had to cope with the fact that they were going to die, and there was nothing I could do about it besides watch in horror. At least they didn't. Anyway. It makes me all clingy in the morning and all I do is hug Kevin and go "Thank god you're not dead!" and have flashbacks of exploding things and radiation poisoning and melting flesh. Yesterday, Nessa & Sonyo came over to bask in our heated apartment to sew things, watch bad movies, and eat tacos. Today, we go to Uwajimaya! Hooray! ( hi-octane orange ) Current Mood: relieved

The thing that gets me on the first page of the quiz is that is says "... I take solace from the fact that Germany was split in half, never to be reunited again." So what happened to November 9, 1989? The fall of the Berlin Wall? Reunification of Germany? Unless he's talking culturally. There is stil a divide between E. and W. Germany, but mostly over economics, because W. Germany had to soak up the debt that E. Germany incurred during the years of the split, making Germany as a whole country millions of dollars/marks/euros in debt, and W. Germans felt insulted that they had to help pay for the indescretions of the government of the E. Germans, and E. Germany is still pretty poor. And so on. Blah. But it is still all one big Germany, unless something has happened in the past week that I didn't know about. I guess this guy was so bent on writing his quiz he forgot a basic history lesson. Oh well. Now I have to take this stupid quiz to see if there are any more historical errors. I hate my life. Or mom. Both. For making me such a history nerd. Current Mood: annoyed
